INTRODUCTION
For this graded project, you’ll create a presentation about the PowerPoint unit you just
completed. You’ll assume the role of a class instructor who wants to give an overview of
the features of PowerPoint to students.
CREATE A PRESENTATION
1. Start PowerPoint and create a new blank presentation.
2. Apply the Wisp theme, edit the text to appear like Figure 1, and then save the
presentation as PowerPoint Features.

4. Display slide 4, the Graphics slide.
a. Insert a shape from the Callouts group. Figure 2 includes the Cloud
Thought Bubble, but you may choose any shape from the group.
b. Be sure the Callout shape has a white fill. You may need to use the
Drawing Tools Format tab to apply the formatting.

c. Insert a related clip art image from the Internet by searching for “slide
show.”
d. Size and move the images so that they’re placed similarly to those in Figure 2.

a. Insert the Fireworks.mp4 video, a data file for this graded project.
b. Size and move the video so it appears similar to the image in Figure 3.

7. Display slide 7, the Tables slide.
a. Insert a 2 × 3 table.
b. Add text, edit column widths to appropriate sizes, and move the table so
your slide looks similar to Figure 6.

c. Click the Legend object below the chart and then press Delete to remove it.
d. Edit the chart title to read “Sales in Millions.” Your slide should look similar
to Figure 5.

8. Apply the Fade transition to all the slides.
9. Add the Float In animation to the bulleted items on each slide. Each item should
float in separately on a mouse click.
10. View your slide show from the beginning and make any needed corrections.
11. Save your presentation.
