CIS247C Week 7 Project Overview

The objective this week is to highlight and fix the common mistakes made in the coding process. Through error handling and the various concepts covered throughout this term, a quality working program that satisfies the users’ requirements and expectations is created.

In Vehicle class:
• Fix two errors in header file
• Identify the type of constructors in the comments of the declaration file.

In Warranty class:
• Select the correct concept in the comment at the top of the header file
• Fix one error in declaration file.

In Hybrid class:
• Select the correct concept in the comment at the top of the header file
• Fix one error in declaration file.

In iVehicle class:
• Select the correct concept in the comment at the top of the header file

In Source file:
• Insert comments describing set of statements as indicated.
• Check format of output.

Steps
1. Download zipped file and extract to open the .sln file in visual studio.
2. Insert comments and fix errors in project files.
3. Compile and test the program to ensure there are no errors.
4. Capture screenshot of working code and paste into word document.
5. Submit zipped visual studio project and screenshot.

Lab Steps
STEP 1: Download project
Download Week 7 project zipped file and extract to open the .sln file in visual studio.
STEP 2: Review files
Insert comments and fix errors in project files.
STEP 3: Build and test
Compile and test the program to ensure there are no errors.
STEP 4: Screenshots
• Capture a screenshot of your working code and paste into a Word document.
• Capture a screenshot of your group meeting/discussion and paste in the same Word document.
STEP 5: Submit Deliverables
• Put all of the Visual Studio Project files into a zip file.
• Upload the zip file and screenshots (Word document).
• Please include the names of all participating team members in word document.
• Only one submission is required for the entire group.
